Klaus inspires, enables and guides educators and innovators in a rapidly changing world. He creates and conducts immersive and collaborative learning and innovation experiences in the form of classes, workshops, and online courses. Klaus is a sought-after trainer, mentor, and speaker on innovation, preneurship and digital transformation.
He spent more than 15 years in technical and commercial global leadership positions for a technology company renowned for its groundbreaking innovations, Corning Inc., 10 years based in the UK and in the USA. He has managed over 250 innovation projects and programs. Beyond organisational structures, he formed and led multidisciplinary high-performance teams in the Americas, Europe and Asia to work with global key customers creating groundbreaking innovations and developing new businesses with over 100 million USD in annual revenue.
Klaus studied Engineering, Economics, and Management at Munich University of Applied Sciences. After participating in the international leadership program "Global Leadership 2020" of Tuck School of Business, Dartmouth College, Hanover, USA, and other advanced training courses, among others at Columbia University Business School New York, USA. He is the founder and managing director of Cyoneer GmbH and InnovationLabs.Berlin, where he is pioneering an evolutionary organisation to successfully build new ventures and transformational business models. Klaus develops new open innovation formats, one of which is NanoLabs® with over 1.000 participants in more than 80 events. He supports startups, scaleups, global corporations, NGOs, and research institutes in their endeavour to increase agility and innovate with impact.
During the last few years, he coached over 150 founders and startups and supported various research programs including the Fraunhofer Institute. Klaus teaches master students at TU Berlin (Space Engineering), Grenoble Ecole de Management (Innovation Management), SRH Berlin School of Popular Arts (Creative Industries Management), and others. He is an expert evaluator for the European Innovation Council - he evaluated almost 100 proposals - and actively participates in international mentor programs like the Founder Institute.
